The Scripture Often Speak of the Holy Spirit “Holy Spirit” / “Spirit of God” / “Spirit of the Lord” – 150x in the Bible Who He is, what He did/does, how He works and gives gifts, etc.

The Holy Spirit: An Uncomfortable Subject It’s hardly preached or studied publicly. We’ve heard ‘others’ talk about the Holy Spirit and ‘we’ haven’t ‘experienced’ Him. He (“it”) is a controversial topic. False teachers claiming miraculous gifts.

The Bible is Explicit The Spirit of God dwells within Christians. Rom. 8:9, 11 By faith we are assured of His presence in us. 1John 4:13 God’s Spirit bears witness WITH our spirit… that we are children of God! Rom. 8:16

The Signs Are Divinely Evident

The Outward Proof of God’s Spirit? We strive to work out our salvation. Phil. 2:12 & 13 We bear forth “fruit” of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-25), being led by Him (Rom. 8:5-8) This conversion manifests ongoing repentance in a believer’s life.
