Responding to the Father's voice "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

The Father's Voice John 12(47-50) 47 if anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them; I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. 49 For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. 50 I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me. Listening to Jesus is hearing the Father Voice "The Fathers commandment is Eternal life " Luke 9(34)Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!”

Can you hear Me ? John 10(1-5 & 9) “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10(9) I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be * saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. * Sozo = healing of body, soul and spirit= quality of life Point : Follow that which sounds like Jesus!!!

Hearing is discernment for the answer, not the problem Jn 12(47) If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not *judge him; for I did not come to * judge the world, but to save the world. *Krino-To call into question -to separate, put asunder, to pick out, select, choose to approve, esteem, to prefer to be of opinion, deem, think, to be of opinion to determine, resolve, Sozo – to heal, body, soul and spirit When is Judgment? "; the word I spoke is what will *judge him at the last day." Jn 12(48 -b) “ Hearing Father is to pronounce Salvation not Judgment”

The Father's Purposes are the Son’s Goals & Mission The Goal (abundant life)-John 10 (10) the thief comes only to steal and kill and *destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly Abundant life = the antithesis of what brings death, robbery and destruction The Mission (unravel the enemy plans) 1 John 3(8) the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to *destroy the works of the devil. What the son does *lü'-ō = to loose any person (or thing) tied or fastened, dissolve, sever, break, demolish," What the enemy does -*ä-po'l-lü-mē ="to destroy utterly;" Responding to the Father is to participate with the mission of the son. To destroy the works of the enemy and release abundant life

Mindsets that are Obstacles to the Goals & Mission of the Father & Son

“ God is in control of everything.” There is perhaps no more damaging lie than the belief that God is in control of everything and that He is the reason everything happens. The problem with thinking God is in control is that it makes us passive spectators in the ride of life. We’ll just sit and take whatever life hands us. If God were in control of everything, then he would be responsible for all the evil in our world—all the wars, killings, disease and destruction. God is not the author of evil. The Bible never says God is in control. Instead, it states, “the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” (1 John 5:19) Church, co-labor with Jesus & unravel the works of the enemy!!

“Everything that happens is the Lord’s will.” It was not God’s will for Adam to eat from the forbidden tree (Genesis 2:17), yet Adam ate. God is not willing that any perish (2 Peter 3:9); yet people perish. God commands all people everywhere to repent. (Acts 17:30); yet many don’t. God can’t give us something he doesn’t have – i.e. sickness –poverty-etc. God is Lord of the universe but His gift to us is free will; the freedom to choose how we live. The cost of this gift is that we can make choices contrary to God’s will. Jesus taught us to pray, “Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Kingdom principle: Psalm 115:(16) the highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind.
9
God could’ve stopped it, but He didn’t” ! Another way of saying it: “This bad thing is God’s fault. He allowed it to happen. Therefore I can’t trust Him !" * It’s a fallen Adamic mindset that blames God for something that not was His choice. ( Genesis 3:12 ) The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” *The truth is God doesn’t always stop bad things from happening. He is waiting for us as sons and daughters to stop the injustices of this life. (The Billman’s ) Romans 8(19) -For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. (Revealing the Father)

How do you know you are responding to the Father? Philippians 2(12-13) 12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. John 10(3-5) To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Summary of Responding to the Father's Voice His Plan is about Abundant and Eternal Life. His Judgment is about our response to the words of Jesus. His Goal is SOZO not condemnation. His Voice sounds exactly like Jesus. His Mission is to destroy the works of the enemy. His Strategy is our cooperation with the mission of Jesus. He will not control us. Not everything is His will. His desire is for us to stop the evil in the world. He is able to communicate to us His will.
