The Tomb of the Unknowns (also known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier) is a monument in Arlington National Cemetery dedicated to the American soldiers who have died without their remains being identified. Veterans from all the nation's wars are interred in the cemetery, from the American Revolution through the military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq.
