2.  The class will be divided into eight groups  Each one will find all the information required about a specific planet  Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation and include pictures, videos, or visuals (at least 4)  Everything will be done in the classroom  You will have three days to complete the project and then you will give an oral report giving the information  Even though it’s a group work, you will be evaluated independently  The project has two grades: written project and oral presentation  When you finish, you must print your project, and hand it in a folder

3.  Use letter #24 or bigger  Any font letter, except cursive  You must include an assessment to be done at the end of the project, to evaluate if your classmates were paying attention during the oral presentations  Follow the instructions very carefully

4.  1 st -Planet’s Name  2 nd -Your names and numbers, group, and date  3 rd - Start writing the information gathered, include videos, pictures, and/or visuals  At the end (last slide) include an assessment for your classmates to complete  Assessment Ideas:  Word Search  Questions  Fill the blanks  Crossword Puzzle

6.  Name origin  Diameter  Distance from the Sun  Translation-how long in Earth’s time  Rotation-how long in Earth’s time  Important details such as: rings, moons, temperature, landmarks  Gravity  How many moons and their names  Position in the solar system  Who discovered the planet, when, and how
