Patrols are mobilised CPNZ Chair, Robert Fowler and National Operations Officer, Dave Ross fly to Christchurch to assist with the organisation of relief CPNZ organises food and water to be flown in by helicopter from Rangiora (“the Rangiora Express”) and distribute it to welfare centres CPNZ organises water from Kaiapoi and distributes it to welfare centres CPNZ’s response:

Hornby patrol collects food donations from west Christchurch residents and distributes them to the hard hit east Christchurch residents CPNZ makes medical runs - taking medicine and medical supplies from pharmacies to doctors out in the field CPNZ provides courier services for Police – between stations and from stations to police out in the field As Police are tied up in the CBD, CPNZ patrols the suburbs as high-profile crime deterrents CPNZ’s response:
