The Final Word 1.Read the paper and note 2-3 passages or sentences which are of interest to you 2.Form groups of 5 3.Appoint a time keeper 4.The first speaker reads out a passage of interest and explains uninterrupted why it was chosen (1 minute) 5.Each group member, in turn, responds to what was said (1 minute each) 6.The first speaker has ‘The Final Word’ to respond ( 1 minute) 7.Repeat the process with each group member in turn. Jigsaw Each participant becomes an ‘expert’ on Section A, B or C of the paper ‘Experts’ share and clarify understanding of their particular section Groups of 3 (ie an A, B and C ‘expert’) report to each other about significant features of the paper.
