Teaching adults is not an easy task. Nowadays, our generations are one step into the technological era. As a result, our classroom, environment, and methodology are also changing. In addition, teachers have to deal with different social environments which model students to absorb different behaviors, life styles, attitudes, thoughts, beliefs, and so on. In order to teach EFL to adults, teachers should fulfill some requirements in the teaching process: appropriate lesson plans, trainings, effective methodologies and techniques, and so forth.

My dear students, answer the following questions after consulting the web link section… What is an EFL adult learner? How can teachers incorporate teamwork, pair – work and individual work in an EFL adults’ class? Which are the main differences between assessment and evaluation? Which are the requirements when creating an EFL adult lesson plan? According to your understanding, which do you consider are the advantages and disadvantages of teaching EFL to adults?

- Students MUST read the given material, and discuss it in the group. - In groups of four, students will answer the previous questions in their notebooks. - Students will analyze the material in order to share their answers and ideas in a meaningful in the class.

As teachers, we should know that in the EFL environment it is important to take different aspects into consideration; however, not all the time teachers are ready to apply their methodology, and even more, to foresight the several changes a lesson plan may have through the teaching process.
