The pebble Project Caleb B. Period 1 2-8-16 Onwards!!

Main Menu My name is Caleb Bradley. I am late 17 years old as I am making this project. I feel that I have gone through many struggles in my life and will continue to face more. But with my determination, my love for mathematics, and my pure creativity, I believe I will be a great success. Family and Background Future Plans Personal Goals Interests and Hobbies

Family and Background Main Menu I was born in the city of Hemet, Hemet Hospital, and lived in Redlands for most of my life. Moving became a big part of my childhood. We moved to various cities for various reasons, but we eventually settled here in Redlands, once again, once I got into High School. I started school at McKinley Elementary and, with all the moving, obviously went to a variety of schools like Smiley and Hamilton School in Anza. My family consists of my brother, my Mom, my Dad, and my Step-Dad.Hemet HospitalRedlands MovingMcKinley Elementary My Junior year in High school was really ugly. First off, a year before, I made the mistake of not creating relationships with peers because I thought they were too connected to their technology. During Junior year, I suffered Depression. It was a challenge worth getting through though and I got plenty of help from councilors and from taking a drug called Zoloft. The biggest lesson I got from it was that depression was a battle worth fighting. DepressionZoloft

Future Plans Main Menu Oh, so I must want to be a failure since college is the answer to everything, right? Nope. To me, college is a ridiculous and expensive scam for people to waste their money. It sucks how high paying jobs require it. But I need not worry since I plan to be a Game Developer. Also, this opinion will change if they make it cheaper to go.college is a ridiculous and expensive scam I could enter the Game Design field without any college experience and start making about 40 grand a year at start. I feel that I am different from other game devs at my age because I have already put the effort into making some decent quality games. I have even assembled a little dev team right now to work on a side-scrolling adventure. You can see more about this in my interests/hobbies menu. Game design is obviously my future now and I feel very ambitious to be hired into a well paying job or even start a company of my own that designs games. Unity is a very popular Game Engine (Software used to create advanced games, animations, etc.) that I plan to use when I start making more advanced games.40 grand a year at startUnity

Personal Goals Main Menu A game is a spectacular piece of Media composed of music, story, and graphics that come together with user interactivity to make something amazing. Game design is art, math, and everything else to me. It is my life and the future of my career. It is far more communicative than it seems, too. It requires people to get together into a team to work together to put a game together. artmath So my entire plan to do with this career is to either enter into a dev team, or create a new one.enter into a dev team

Interests/Hobbies Menu Main Menu I believe that some of my interests can one day become a full time job. It already feels like one at this point. I am really passionate about what I am capable of producing in terms of these interests.full time job Game Design Gaming Rubik’s Cubes

Game Design Main Menu back I have been coding games for over 2 years now. I know various languages like Java, Batch, Python, JavaScript, and much more. My online nickname as a developer is pebble225. I don’t quite have attention yet, but I am determined and exited. I have produced many games over the years and their quality continues to improve to this day. I started making simple console games where you type out commands, but it eventually evolved to designing the different components to the side-scrolling adventure game that I’m working on with my brother right now. I don’t have a name for it though.Batch PythonJavaScriptpebble225side-scrolling The image on the right is a logo I made for one of my releases on the popular site Game Jolt. It is called Space Navigator and the idea of the game is that you can fly around on a spaceship and blast asteroids out of your way. It is simple and fun. Also check out my later release Brain Dead. It is a simple zombie shooter.Game JoltSpace Navigator Brain Dead

Gaming Main Menu back Playing games is a great method that I use to relax and enjoy myself. I tend to only play games on my PC.(PC master race) I have played games for years and years and years. I have so many great memories as a gamer. My most favorite game at this moment would be War Thunder on the top-left. It is an online game based off of WWII where you can fly games in a really cool simulator. Unfortunately, it is a pay- to-win, but it is not that big a deal to me.PC master racepay- to-win Just like Rubik’s Cubes, gaming is a pastime. When I hear about people living off of playing games, I think it is ridiculous. There is a game called League of Legends and there are people who treat it like a sport. It is a game, not a career. Anyway, gaming is still a fun thing to do, not quite a hobby or a skill, but still a great way to relax or enjoy yourself.living off of playing gamesLeague of Legends

Rubik’s Cubes Main Menu back To me, Rubik’s Cubes are a neat little way to pass the time. I have so many now, I have a hard time recalling or counting how many I have. The only problem I have to deal with is hearing the same repetitive phrases people have about my cubes. They get very predictable.Rubik’s Cubes The story of Rubik’s Cubes for me began when my parents gave me one for Christmas. I didn’t know how to do it at all and it looked very intimidating. I didn’t even try to learn for about a year. I finally tried to look up tutorials on how to do it, but I eventually got so frustrated, I threw it away. I wanted to give up, but I got back into it again and mastered the 3x3, then the 4x4. It goes in order from now on like this: 2x2, Mirror, Pyraminx, Void Cube(No Center piece), 5x5, finally 6x6. tutorialsMirror Pyraminx
