English weather The winters are mild. The summers aren´t very hot and it rains a lot. The temperature is from 4 degrees in winter to 16 degrees in summer.

Famous places and buildings in London Trafalgar Square – there is Nelson´s Column in the middle The Tower of London – it is nearly thousand years old –it was a royal palace, then prison, a royal zoo –it is a museum now

Big Ben – is the bell of the tower on the Houses of Parliament – it was built on the site of the Palace of Westminster, which was destroyed by fire in 1834 Downing Street at number 10 – the Prime minister lives here Buckingham Palace –the Queen lives here Tower Bridge –it breaks in the middle St. Paul´s Cathedral –is one of the largest cathedrals in the world

The largest river in Britain is the Thames Today near London Bridge you can see the Monument to the Great Fire of London (in 1666)
