But … Different Gen 2:7 So the LORD (Yehovah) God (Elohiym) formed the man from the dust of the ground, breathed life into his lungs, and the man became a living being (soul). Gen 2:8 The LORD God planted a garden (enclosure) in Eden, toward the east, where he placed the man whom he had formed.

Gen 2:18 Later, the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make for him a companion (helper) that is a suitable match for him." Gen 2:19 After the LORD God formed from the ground every wild animal and every bird that flies, he brought each of them to the man to see what he would call it. Whatever the man called each living creature became its name. Gen 2:20 The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds that fly, and to each of earth's animals, but there was not found for the man any companion corresponding to him, Gen 2:21 so the LORD God caused a deep sleep to overshadow the man. When the man was asleep, he removed one of the man's ribs and closed up the flesh where it had been. Gen 2:22 Then the LORD God formed (build, establish) the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to the man.

Marriage is a work of God and gets its meaning from God. And its meaning is mainly the portrayal of the covenant love between Christ and his Church.

Marriage – what it’s not a Relation between 2 people The answer to a cold winter Living arrangement Finding a soul mate

Marriage – what it is… A covenant relationship between God and a born again man and woman Based on the Word of God In community Glorifying God Led by Holy Spirit It is precious Partnership, Spiritual intimacy and ability to pursue God together

When the going gets tough God created marriage as a loyal partnership between one man and one woman. Marriage is the firmest foundation for building a family. God designed sexual expression to help married couples build intimacy. Marriage mirrors God's covenant relationship with His people.

So "don't separate what God has joined." Tough it out, talk it out, pray it out, fast it out, cry it out, wait it out, and when you are at the end of your resources, remember: like a child, like a helpless, insufficient, needy, trusting child, receive the kingdom; receive the King's help. But don't break it up.

Practical Tips Focus on your spouse's strengths rather than their weaknesses. Encourage rather than criticize. Pray for your spouse instead of gossiping about them. Learn and live what Christ teaches about relating to and loving others. Love is an unconditional commitment, not a fickle feeling.
