8 Permanent HHW Depot There are many tangible benefits with the establishment of Permanent HHW Depot Eliminates set-up fees for one day collection events Provides the residents with a continuous service There are very few traffic problems or crowd problems compared to one day events, therefore providing a safer environment Lower operating costs once the facility is established Consistency in operation User friendly

10 Newalta can provide the following training Training for site personnel Understanding regulations relating to the management of Household Hazardous Waste Use of PPE, site safety, spill response, clean- up and emergency response procedures Acceptance Procedures Vehicle Unloading Waste Sorting Procedures Identification and sorting waste by hazard classification and compatibility Packaging procedures according to both Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Newalta requirements

11 HHW training for First Nation Communities – RDOS CMSL HHW training was provided for 7 First Nations communities - 3 communities on the central coast (Gitxaala, Kitasoo and Heiltsuk),2 are north of Tofino (Ahousaht and Hesquiaht) and 1 is near Port Hardy (Gwa'sala). The non-coastal community is (Lil'wat)
