This project tackles the problem posed by noise at airports. It makes use of a noise monitoring module facilitated with a digital display board to aid notification of flight information to waiting passengers.

This project is basically made of three main parts: 1) a POWER SOURCE, mainly a 9 volts battery or for cost and power considerations the use of a power supply, 2) a NOISE MONITORING MODULE and 3) a DIGITAL READOUT INTERFACE

The project pursues the following goals; Noise monitoring and reduction Flight information notification and can also be used for Commercials/ advertisement

The project is important in its areas of application as it limits misinterpretation of information by people due to noise resulting in difficulty in hearing. It aides in proper communication and impartation of knowledge in institutions of learning, formal gatherings

The major area of concern is in the transportation industry Large auditoriums lecture halls for institutions of learning meant for large formal gathering

Finally it was concluded that noise and its impediments can be limited and information can still be passed on noisy environment by use of noise monitoring module with display of information required to be passed on to large number of people.

It is important for the display screen to be made very large and with very bright LEDs For real time display of flight information we recommend the display to be interfaced with a programmer
