2 Key Question: What colour is Anger? project outline – To study and experiment with colour inspired by the Expressionist art movement Outcomes – I will have found out about Expressionist artwork and have created a A4 piece of artwork or sculpture based on animal faces which expresses emotions through colour and shape- choose one type of media from the list below…… Your research and own artwork must be handed in together A painting using watercolours or poster paint A collage using a variety of materials- paper/ fabric etc A 3D sculpture made from self drying clay or paper Mache A computer generated image

7 FRANZ MARC The Tiger and its surroundings are composed of geometric shapes whose similarity suggests both the camouflage of the tiger. Colour is the main element used to separate the tiger from its background.

8 HOW TO START THE HOMEWORK 1.Find out about Expressionist art for example – Franz Marc 2. collect an image of the artist’s work

9 3. Decide on an emotion to represent and an animals face Which animal could you choose? Pet cat? Zebra? Aardvark?
