Step 2- Analysis EXAMINE AND EXPLAIN THE RELATIONSHIPS OF ELEMENTS OF ART & PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN Do say: The female spider sculpture is emphasized by central placement and size, making it the most important part of the artwork. The legs have pointed tips to represent a sharp texture that could be used for puncturing a surface or enemy and/or for intimidation. The alternation of the vertical monochromatic pink lines in the background mimic a sheer curtain that allows different values of a chandelier light show through. Do not say: The artist used line and form.
