exploreengageelevate Enhanced Search Search across multiple entities (up to 10 entities) Configurable (using quick find view definition) Search from anywhere Demo

exploreengageelevate Hierarchy Visualization (Tree/Tile View) Hierarchy already setup OOB for: Accounts, Positions, Products, Users Demo Hierarchy enabled OOB for: All Custom Entities, Case, Contact, Opportunity, Order, Quote, Campaign, and Team To setup: 1.Identify hierarchy driver relationship (self 1:N) and set Hierarchical = “Yes” 2.Define attributes to be shown in hierarchical view (Quick View Form) 3.Expose relationship field in the form & connect records Thing to Know – FAQ Hierarchy is solution aware (import/export) Maximum of 4 fields allowed per tile Visualization based on one entity Only 1 hierarchical relationship per entity Only 1 X N relationship allowed to be hierarchical

exploreengageelevate Enhanced Business Process Demo Before: No branching (strictly linear process) Cannot visit an entity more than once No programmability support Enhanced: Rule-based branching evaluated in real-time Create and edit through UI Comprehensive branching support single entity, cross entities, and merge multiple branches back to a single stage Support for multiple entity loops ability to go back to entity already in process flow Programmability through Client API

exploreengageelevate Sales Process (sample 1) Dynamically change Sales Stages as needed through branching

exploreengageelevate Sales Process (sample 2) Multiple entity loops Ex: Opportunity to Quote to Opportunity to Quote and back to Opportunity

exploreengageelevate Enhanced Business Process (cont’d): Points to note / Limitations Branching rules must be based on steps in the stage that immediately precedes it Combine multiple conditions in a rule using AND/OR AND… AND… AND… or OR… OR… OR… (must be all ANDs or all ORs) Cannot have AND and OR in a conditional expression An entity used in the process can be revisited multiple times (multiple closed entity loops) Use of entity relationships is optional (can only leverage 1:N relationships) Can span across a maximum of 5 unique entities Maximum of 30 stages per process, 30 steps per stage Each branch can be no more that 5 levels deep No Looping Only one active process per record

exploreengageelevate Enhanced Business Rules (cont’d): Limitations Cannot support nested if… else No grouping of expressions in a condition Expressions can be combined either using And, or using Or but not both

exploreengageelevate Calculated Fields – Few examples

exploreengageelevate Calculated & Rollup Fields (cont’d): How to create/edit Calculated & Rollup fields must be created from the entity field Customization UI Can’t change existing simple field to calculated field. Data Type: Single line of text Option Set Two Options Whole Number Currency Date and Time

exploreengageelevate Calculated Fields: Example

exploreengageelevate Calculated Field (cont’d): Points to note / Limitation Calculates upon retrieve of the record (gets the latest data) Sync process happens upon retrieve Calculated field is Not available offline (shows up as null in offline mode) Saved queries, charts, and visualizations can have a maximum of 10 unique calculated fields A maximum # of chained calculated fields in 5. A calculated field can’t refer to itself or have cyclic chains. AND or OR (cannot have AND and OR operators in condition) Calculated fields can only span two entities (current and parent record) Can’t trigger workflows or plugins on calculated fields Can’t change existing simple field to calculated field. Calculated fields that use only simple fields (on current entity) can be sorted Additional Details: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn832103.aspx

exploreengageelevate Calculated field functions syntax Following functions are available in the ACTION section of the calculated field. Ex: “ADDDAYS (7,Created On)” adds 7 days to the calculated field. Ex: “TRIMRIGHT ( “ABC-12345XYZ”, 3) returns the string “ABC-12345” to the calculated field.

exploreengageelevate Rollup Fields – Few examples

exploreengageelevate Rollup Fields - Details

exploreengageelevate Rollup Field (cont’d):

exploreengageelevate Rollup Field Example

exploreengageelevate Rollup Field (cont’d): Points to note / Limitation Defined over a single directly related entity with 1:N relationship (no N:N) Rollup can’t be done over the 1:N relationship for the Activity entity Complex calculated fields (related entity) cannot be used Rollup over rollup field is not supported You can define a max of 100 rollup fields for the org and 10 rollup fields per entity A workflow can’t be triggered by the rollup field updates A workflow wait condition cannot use a rollup field Additional Details: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn832162(v=crm.7).aspx
