22.  Assign readings by topic and chapters rather than page numbers  Develop customized end-of-chapter  If teaching introductory, benchmark or overarching concepts, allow students to use a book of their choice

23.  For large General Education courses, work with publishers to find a textbook that will be maintained without changes for an agreed upon time.  Ask students to donate their old book to future classmates.  If all else fails, choose a print book that is reasonably priced.
