3. Scholarships For the scholarship you are applying for, write a multi- paragraph persuasive essay about why you deserve the scholarship. Be sure to use evidence! On a piece of notebook paper, include your name AND the scholarship name. I will read and award scholarships before the walkthrough day.

4. Scholarship Opportunities Athletic scholarship: how has athletics helped prepare you for studying in college? Music scholarship: why did you choose to play an instrument/sing? What has music taught you? Service scholarship: how have you served your community? Give examples and explain the impact you have had on your community. Healthcare professions scholarship: why do you want to pursue a major in healthcare? Education major scholarship: what is one thing you would change about your school to help students learn? Explain why you would change that aspect. Engineering scholarship: Describe an invention you’ve thought about creating.
