11 “The project highlighted areas of weakness in my own understanding of managing diabetes and also services available for referral and advice. I feel that my knowledge in this subject area has improved significantly since writing the quick guide and my confidence in managing this.” Zoe ST3 'By contributing to this noble educational project, I feel I have been able to take a step back and think about FY2 doctors in general practice may think about and approach dermatological pathology. Being in their shoes only a year ago, this opportunity has enabled me to review a common skin condition such as acne and attempt to structure it relevantly for FY2’s needs. I have enjoyed participating in this project and am sure junior doctors will find benefit from it' Faraz ST1 “I have found the trainees to be enthusiastic, efficient and easily accessible and available. It has been particularly helpful to have the trainees perspective on what they would have benefited from as an F2 and this has helped to make sure the guides are relevant to future trainees. We have found working with the trainees so helpful that we have now encouraged other subject leads to involve their trainees in writing other quick guides”. Rebecca (HEFT Faculty of Education)
