Warm blooded mammal in the rodent family. Nocturnal up at night sleeps during the day. There are many types of hamsters, but only a couple types of hamsters can be pets. They don’t get a long with other animals. They love to crawl. They are very soft and fluffy. They really like to run in there exercise wheel. They really go to washroom a lot. Teddy bear hamsters are the second most popular hamsters in pet stores.

Hamster food can be bought in pet stores and department stores pet section. It usually consists of a mixture of corn, oats, wheat, alfalfa pellets, sunflower seeds. But hamsters need more then a seed diet. To keep your hamster healthy. He needs a daily portion of fresh fruits and vegetables.
