2 KEY QUESTION Should the United States be involved in the fight against ISIS?

3 Background information Islam broke into two branches – Sunni and Shia (Shiite). From the Sunni branch – came another branch of Islam extremist or radicals called Al Qaeda who is said to be responsible for the 911 attacks in the U.S. From Al Qaeda another branch broke off and became ISIS.

4 ISIS – a jihadist group Jihad – to wage holy war on behalf of Islam as a religious duty.

10 FINAL ASSIGNMENT (Formative) We are going to answer the key question. Key Question = Should the United States be involved in the fight against ISIS? There will be no right or wrong answer because its an opinion. I will grade it on accurate facts and support for your opinion.
