Cap and Gown Delivery Delivered Wednesday, April 24, during lunch periods Navy Blue Gown White Collar (V- necked satin collar) Tassel Honor stoles will be awarded at Senior Awards Night. NHS members should see Mrs. Cathy Smith for NHS tassels.

Announcement Etiquette Mail announcements to family and friends two or three weeks prior to graduation. (May 1?) Do not mail announcements to classmates and their family. Do not mail announcements to the faculty / staff of ECCHS. * You may want to share a name card or photo with classmates’ families or teachers to acknowledge you are graduating. An announcement is not appropriate since they are aware of the time and place of graduation.

What to do with TWO envelopes? The outer envelope, with the gummed flap, is the mailing envelope. Hand address it legibly, using black or blue ink. Abbreviations in the mailing address should be avoided: Mr. John Smith Mr. And Mrs. Paul Jones 383 North Street39 West 18 th Street Louisville, Kentucky 55512Albany, New Jersey 77701

2 nd envelope? The inner envelope should bear the name of the addressee(s). This may be expressed informally as: Aunt May and Uncle Bill, Demetrius and Leah Mr. and Mrs. Johnson Mary and Paul Grandmother Miss Lena

Mailing Instructions 1.Place the announcement in the inner envelope with the folded edge being inserted first, with the front of the announcement facing the flap. 2.Place the inside envelope facing toward the back of the outside envelope when inserting (should see writing) 3.Seal securely by moistening the gummed flap. Then, apply a foil envelope seal, if included with your order. 4.Send via first class mail.

Acknowledging Gifts A short note of thanks, written by hand, should go to all who have sent a gift. Acknowledge the gift as promptly as possible after its receipt.
