Challenges no extra funding for projects. Libraries using their operating budgets no extra staff for projects. Library staff fitting digitizing work into their daily schedules balancing file size and resolution convincing authors to provide electronic versions of their reports

Future plans continue digitizing older and historical DFO documents seek designated funding for maintenance and development of the VL dynamic updating of intranet lists from WAVES database improve functionality of the VL site, e.g. searching, sorting investigate compliance with recognized standards, e.g., OAI-PHM
