2 WHAT DOES AN ALTERNATOR DO? -IT GENERATES ELECTRICAL CURRENT -IT CONVERTS ALTERNATING CURRENT TO DIRECT CURRENT -IT REGULATES OUTPUT ACORDING TO DEMAND -IT CAN SUPPLY A FREQUENCY OUTPUT FOR PROCESSORS (I.E. engine speed sensing)

15 Before doing the following tests consider the following. Check the fan belt is the correct tension. Do a visual check on all wires and connections. Is the charge warning light bulb working?
