Health Campaigns Below is an example of how you can incorporate e-Bug into the school environment through health campaigns. Global Handwashing Day aims to increase understanding about the importance of hand washing as an effective way to prevent diseases and save lives. The school could put up the e-Bug ‘6 steps of hand washing’ poster above skin basin’s around the school so staff and students are aware of the correct way to wash your hands. European Immunisation Day aims to educate young people on the importance of vaccinations. The school could get involved by asking all students to download their personalised ‘vaccination timeline’.

Assembly Next Back The e-Bug Science Show (Key Stage 1) has excellent activities that can be used on a larger scale such as for an assembly for any age group. For example the Super Sneezes activity could be used to educate the students about the spread of infection and importance of good respiratory hygiene. The ‘snot runway’ could be placed down the middle of the assembly to demonstrate how far a sneeze travels. e-Bug Training Module for Educators 1. Introduction 2. Accessing e-Bug Resources 3.
