THECLIMATECHANGE THE CLIMATE CHANGE
2
WHAT IS IT? ➲ The climate change are climate variations caused by rising emissions of greenhouse gases that the man emitted and trap heat in the atmosphere. This, has very negative impacts on the ozone layer that protects us from the sun. ➲ As you know the famous "hole in the ozone layer" in the Antarctic area increases year after year, allowing the sun's rays reach the earth, causing the temperature to rise.
3
What are the greenhouse gases? Steam H2O Carbon Dioxide CO2 Methane CH4 Nitrous oxide N2O ➲ The gases emitted in excess appointed to the atmosphere, intensifying the natural greenhouse effect and warm the planet (global warming)
4
How is it produced? ➲ Some solar energy from the Sun passes throught the atmosphere and another part of the energy is reflected in the atmosphere and is returned to space. ➲ Some the energy that gets through the atmosphere, is trapped by greenhouse gases, and the other heats the Earth and radiates into space. ➲ This process is the greenhouse effect, and increasing gas intensifies and producing global warming.

Impacts of climate change ➲ Increasing temperatures and shocks. The hotter summers and colder winters. Over the past 100 years the average temperature in Europe has increased 1ºC degree, which is an unusually rapid warming. ➲ The glaciers and ice is melting ice zone, causing an increase in sea level. (Countries such as the Netherlands may even eventually disappear) ➲ Increased droughts and floods, resulting in land fertility. ➲ Lack of drinking water. ➲ Nature under threat. ➲ Acid rain

What can you do? ➲ Do not leave appliances on standby, 45% of energy consumed by a television is in standby mode. ➲ Switch off the lights when you don't need them and use energy- saving light bulbs. ➲ Unplug your mobile charger when you're not using it. ➲ Saves water: Take a shower instead of a bath, turn off your tap, boil less water, cover your pots while cooking... ➲ Avoid using the car, use public transport, bicycle or your own feet is a good way to reduce the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere. ➲ And recycled: Reuse your shopping bag, sort paper and cardboard, plastics and cans from the rest of your waste...Re- use paper, print less... The LITTLE changes can make a BIG difference!
