What to Expect...  Homework:  Will be based on Notes, Academic Vocabulary, and Common Core  Encourage your son/daughter to keep a Mustang Agenda for all classes  Grades:  Academic grade based on assessments and projects demonstrating mastery of concepts and standards  Class Work/Homework grade based on work turned in complete and on time.

6. Attendance  Regular attendance in Science is necessary for success. Concepts are covered each day and need application to future projects. If a lab is missed, book work must be done to make it up.  For each day absent you have the same extra days to finish the missed work.  For an independent study contract the assignments are due the day of return.

8. Improving Grades...  Re-engage!  All assessments can be re-taken during the semester if need be. It is up to the student to contact me regarding this.  Students can discuss with me a plan to improve mastery of the concepts.  Complete work prior to the assessments! Then make an appointment for before or after school.
