Been signposted to a variety of ideas that can be used as health interventions Time to consider and identify ideas that could be used in their school. Outcomes Delegates will have :

Chief medical officer’s guidelines for 5-18 yr olds Moderate/vigorous Physical Activity for at least 60 mins. & up to 3 hours a day Vigorous intensity activities, including those that strengthen muscle and bone, should be incorporated at least three days a week All children and young people should minimise the amount of time spent being sedentary (sitting) for extended periods www.gov.uk/government/publications/uk-physical-activity-guidelines

DfE requirements The Primary PE and Sport Premium should help schools to achieve the DfE vision of: “All pupils leaving primary school physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.”
