[ 6 Comments on Product Requirements & Requests  Ground rules  There are no stupid questions; each is valid  Spirit of transparency – maybe we’ve seen this solved elsewhere?  We come from a variety of business environments  Each see the SAP Business One solution through a different lens  Benefit to bringing different perspectives to the table  Challenge in discussing needs in a reasonably common context  Understanding of product roadmap  Version currently implemented  Configuration, customization, and/or add-ons implemented  Methodology and level of involvement of implementation partner  Council needs to decide on balance and level of detail to pursue  High level functional requirement, or specific functional implementation/design??  What will be our outcome/deliverable as a council?

7 Real Experience. Real Advantage. [ 7 Product Requirements & Requests: #1  Ability to handle debit memos to increase price, quantities, or add items to an invoice and keeping everything linked. In a localization not available to most is a marketing document type called “AR Invoice Adjustments” that serves just this purpose.  Andreas has to check with legal because this might be illegal in the EU in regards to tax rules.  Ability to issue credit or debit memos with an option to not affect inventory.  This will be release in 8.82 Art Puliafico (Jacobs Farm-Del Cabo)

8 Real Experience. Real Advantage. [ 8 Product Requirements & Requests: #2  Include some document header information in the results when doing Drag and Relate – Details for a document. A user can do two separate Drag and Relates (one to get header info and one to get line detail info), but the problem we are running into is that our users have no way of knowing which specific document, customer, etc… the detail is associated with, without having to drill into each document individually.  Andreas – This looks like it would be an easy thing to do. 9 Real Experience. Real Advantage. [ 9 Product Requirements & Requests: #3  Two enhancements to the current “Copy From” Wizard functionality on marketing documents. The first enhancement we would like to see is being able to do a Copy From (e.g. Copy AR Credit from AR Invoice) without linking the two documents involved. For example, we would like to generate an AR Credit from an AR Invoice without the two documents reconciling with each other (the reconciliation would be left for our Accounts Receivable department to decide). The second enhancement we are requesting is that Closed document lines be available for copying in the Copy From wizard. This would of course require that the non-linking ability be added since a closed line can no longer be reconciled with anything.  We have two primary reasons for requesting the Copy From enhancements. The first is our Accounts Receivable department would prefer doing the reconciliations themselves. The second is we deal with very many large documents (50+ lines). So each time a customer returns items from a paid invoice, our customer service people are required to manually enter each line from that Invoice onto a Credit. So being able to simply copy closed/reconciled documents would save our users valuable data entry time.  B1 UP does this already  Andreas – This will be coming in 8.81, where users can open up a chain of documents (ie. [ 10 Product Requirements & Requests: #4 Administration  Adding a new user is cumbersome  Have to add to all approval procedures  Maybe this will be released in 9.0, Andreas to look into  Need to improve on branch controls  Lock down the ability to change sales price  There is currently a function but it also blocks changing when you cut PO’s  Approval procedures working on the line level  Andreas will look into, won’t be released before 9.0  Better/easier ability to import inventory numbers  Have a method of hiding/archiving past posting periods Financials  Getting rid of XL Reporter, then we need an alternative for financial statements  Make the transfer of fixed assets better  You currently have to create a new fixed asset to make the transfer  Enhancements will be made prior to end of this year  Add the field project code to recurring postings – Fixed in current release  The ability to break reconciliations under Manage previous rec’s.  Payment applied to an invoice but instead turn it into a payment on account. [ 11 Product Requirements & Requests: #4 Sales & Purchasing  The ability to do a price credit that does not return inventory  Will be released in 8.82  Fix tax only  Easy to break links, should have warning  Document numbers stolen, is there a better way?  Need a flag if there is an open goods return not to pay linked invoice or invoices. Business Partners & Banking  Lockdown credit limit as separate authorization  Have setup of contacts as separate authorization  A canned bank rec report Inventory  Need the ability to supercede an item  Need the ability to cross-reference  Put in item number 123 and the item that shows up is ABC  On the item master it should show in red if an item is an alternate  Need bins built in with a inventory count function  Better way to update price lists Ryan Krutzfeldt (Collicutt Compression Solutions)

12 Real Experience. Real Advantage. [ 12 Product Requirements & Requests: #5  Provide a better way to “link” a PO to a sales order and vice versa. Currently I can see the base and target documents on the either the sell or buy side of a transaction, but I can’t see the relationship between the two. This is very important for reselling.  Fixed in current release  In Business Partner Master Data -> Addresses, in both Ship to and Bill to, allow me to see all of the information without scrolling.  Fixed in 8.8 PL Mark Meaders (Dolphin-Corp)

We would like to have an option to only have items in stock available to promise.  We would like to increase efficiencies of the shipping process by having a single delivery/shipping screen.  We currently struggle with backorders/partially delivered orders. The process of tracking and shipping items that were backordered is a manual process for us now.  Ability to issue individual statements and past-due notices directly from the BP record.
