2. Biographical Information Mr. Iooss was born on September 15 1943 in Temple, Texas. He shot his first roll of film in 1959, while covering a game at Yankee Stadium between the Chicago Cardinals and the NY Giants football teams. Walter was 17 when he embarked on his photography career - his first assignment was for Sports Illustrated - and the intervening decades have only deepened his love of the medium.

3. Walter Iooss Mr. Iooss is one of the sports world's most respected photographer's and perhaps the single most successful sports photographer in advertising today. He has shot more than 300 Sports Illustrated covers, contributed to the magazine’s Swimsuit Issue for 30- plus years, and published 13 books. he has also shot campaigns for clients ranging from Coca-Cola, Adidas, Nike, Oakley, Canon, and Gatorade to the Nation Milk Council and Kellogg’s.
