DBKFORM BASICS Study descriptions should be created by principle investigators DBKForm is a stand-alone HTML Form (also available on-line) It just needs a browser and javascript Metadata can be typed in as needed Fields with controlled vocabularies have drop-down lists or selectors Study description can be saved in DDI-Codebook format (XML file) Send the XML file to the archive to be imported and be processed there

DBKFORM FUTURE Load XML file into form to continue working Show tab for fields that have default entries, e.g. publisher Enter English and German metadata in the same form Possibility for direct transfer to DBK at the archive via internet
