Greenberg, Raphael, and Keller (1998) explored four areas related to the teachers’ adoption of image processing: Teachers' background with computers outside of instructional use Teachers' attitudes toward educational technology and insights gained from their experience using computers within the science curriculum Training and perceived influence of district and school administrators Teachers' classroom and computer lab practices

Flumerfelt and Green (2013) pointed out schools are working to improve achievement through the examination of instructional practice and the use of instructional technology. Levin and Schrum (2013) stated that the schools involved attempted to create learning-based goals rather than simply adding technological innovations.

For data collection, I observed the English Literature class and Physics class of a high school on Long Island. Both the classes were well equipped with educational technological tools. Fourteen students were in the English Literature class and fifteen in the Physics class. All Students were white boys and girls within the age range 14 to 18 years. Observational time of each class was forty minutes.

First Seating arrangement of classroom Students were making noise during instructions
7
Second Seating arrangement of classroom “Pin Drop Silence” during activity Distribution of class into groups
9
Students’ behavior was different during my presence After 7 to 8 minutes, students exchange their assignment sheets with each other
10
Demonstration of Ohm’s Law in classroom

Classroom technology was available for use but teachers did not use technology in either classes. In Physics class, Internet connection was not working. Physics teacher said, “No problem, I have second plan,” namely traditional method, i.e.- “chalk and talk.”
16
This research study concludes that teachers prefer traditional teaching styles despite the availability of technology in the classroom.
17
Focus on learning with technology, not about technology. Emphasize content and pedagogy, and not just hardware. Give special attention to professional development of teachers. Initiate a major program of Educational Technology Research and Evaluation. Introduce Flip Classroom Curriculum in Education.
