KSDE CTE Goal – at least one third-party authentic assessment for every Pathway recognized by post-secondary & B/I Industry-recognized credentials Third-party technical skill assessments Default – Competency Profile **Perkins requires each state to report validation of concentrators’ knowledge and skill

13 #iSucceedwithCTE New CTE Student Categories beginning in 2016-2017 Participant* – 0.5 CTE credit Concentrator* – 2.0 CTE credits (any combination of two levels in the same Pathway) Completer – 3.0 CTE credits (minimum of 2.0 credits must be a combination of technical/application level courses in same Pathways) * Must be reported for Perkins Federal Accountability
