5.  Students are assigned a pedometer number. They know which one to put on, they press and hold the reset button and move.  After class, the students take the pedometers to the docking stations, dock them (2 seconds) and return the pedometers to the wall.

23.  Students are more intentional about using their full PE time wisely.  When the students have the pedometers on, they are moving a higher percentage of the class time.  Students know that they are being held accountable for the work that they do in PE.  Lessons have been adapted to maximize step counts/heart rate and reduce wait time.  Students feel success without having to win.
