4  Standard 3 - The physically literate individual demonstrates the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness.  Standard 5 - The physically literate individual recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and/or social interaction.

5  Students are assigned a pedometer number. They know which one to put on, they press and hold the reset button and move.  After class, the students take the pedometers to the docking stations, dock them (2 seconds) and return the pedometers to the wall.

16  Saves Steps, Activity Time, MVPA Time  We are still working on ways to evaluate students using the pedometers.  IHT is the software we use to evaluate our students in PE and we are developing rubrics/ measures to evaluate our students as a district.  Voxer has a FitStep Pro Data Chat

23  Students are more intentional about using their full PE time wisely.  When the students have the pedometers on, they are moving a higher percentage of the class time.  Students know that they are being held accountable for the work that they do in PE.  Lessons have been adapted to maximize step counts/heart rate and reduce wait time.  Students feel success without having to win.
