1 God Gives Shepherds for His Sheep Redeemer Lutheran Church Sunday, April 26 th 2014

2 Welcome to Redeemer! Alleluia! Jesus is risen! He is risen indeed! On this fourth Sunday of Easter we continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior. Today we praise God for the spiritual shepherds he provides to care for us, his sheep.

3 For Our Guests If you have questions, let us try to help. Speak with an usher, greeter, or the person next to you. If you’d like to learn more about Redeemer and its ministry, please talk to Pastor Wolfe or a church member after the service.

4 Children’s Message Each week, our younger worshipers are invited to the front of church before the sermon hymn to hear a special message for them from Pastor Wolfe.

7 Prayer Before Worship Risen Savior, you are the king of life who won victory over death and hell. Rule in our hearts that we may do your will. Protect and provide for us in life as our Good Shepherd, and lead us to be faithful to you in all things. Amen.

9 OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE Redeemer Lutheran Church observes the biblical practice of member communion. (This has also been called close communion.) If you are not currently a member of our congregation, we would kindly ask that you speak with our pastor before communing. We look forward to talking about this very important issue with you!
