Traditional Surrogacy Traditional Surrogacy is the process in which a surrogate is artificially inseminated with donor sperm via IUI, IVF or home insemination. Artificial insemination is easy, pretty painless, and significantly less expensive than IVF, a selling point for many surrogates and intended parents. Surrogate Mother carries the baby and delivers it for the parents to raise. This form of surrogacy is the older method and because of the genetic link between the surrogate and the baby there is some downside risk to this form of surrogacy.

The resulting child is genetically unrelated to the Intended Parents and genetically related to the surrogate.Intended Parents Traditional surrogate is the baby's biological mother. Traditional Surrogacy
