TAKE OFF Ankle position Lead knee (on free leg) follows the curve Block with the arms Common error: Too close to the bar

IN THE AIR Look over lead shoulder Squeeze shoulder blades together Squeeze gluts Feet together, knees apart Press chest and hips to the sky Hands near thighs

FINISH DO NOT KICK Push chin away from chest to start a chain reaction Jumper will bend at waist Hips will drop Legs will straighten (keep knees apart) Feet will “float” upwards
