TN DOE S3 School Climate Survey, December 2012: 43.4% agree that students “care about each other.” 30.6% agree that students “don’t respect each other’s differences.” 57.7% agree that students “try to protect each other.” 33.4% agree that students “don’t trust each other.” 61.9% agree students “cooperate with one another when working on schoolwork together.” 79.9% agree they “are friends with students of different races, religions, and cultures.” 56.2% agree their teachers “give individual attention when I need it.” 85.3% agree teachers “care about me.” (at least one) 63.1% agree teachers “know me well.” 88.1% agree teachers “have confidence in me” 74.7% agree teachers “are available to me when I need them.” 69.1% agree “teachers and other adults at my school try to help me when I am feeling sad, angry, or depressed.” 66.2% agree teachers “intervene when students are having problems with each other.” 50.6% agree that the principal or assistant principal “is easy to approach if I have a problem.” 68.1% agree that the principal or assistant principal “treats students with respect.” 55.3% agree that the principal or assistant principal “listens to student ideas.”

OUTCOME 2: STUDENTS HAVE THE CAPACITY TO MEET STANDARD STUDENT ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS Decrease in the percentage of students in the school who do not have access to SSA (school data) CURRENT DATA SUPPORTING NEED TO FOCUS ON THIS OUTCOME: Community Achieves Spring 2013 School-Level Data Snapshot: Approximately 600 people in the Whites Creek Cluster called to report a clothing need in 2012.
