Individualised Adherence Strategies When recommending behavioural strategies to help clients adhere to their program, incorporate the client's lifestyle habits such as: exercise history present fitness level likes and dislikes 8

Goal Setting Match client's wants (as reported in the pre-assessment lifestyle questionnaire)...with the client's needs (as measured by the client's fitness appraisal/assessment) This will determine the client's Health & Fitness goals which can include: o physical, psychological, social and behavioural aspects 9
