My results have come back to show that the majority of people who answered my questionnaire are within my target audience. This means that most of the results I have taken from the other questions will be 60% accurate. This means that Although the results may vary from what I was expecting, they will be an accurate representation of my target audience’s music tastes and opinions.
2
My results have found that there is almost a split in the amount of men and women in the survey. This allows for any further results to be applicable to both a male and female audience.
3
The majority of people are in full time education, which can be expected for the age group I have targeted for my song/video
4
Due to the fact that the song I have chosen is considered to be in the electronic genre, and the survey shows only 24% listen to that type of music, it may be harder for me to attract attention in my target age group. Although that’s the case, it is still I high amount of people considering that ¼ of people asked listen to this music.
5
This question makes any further questions valid as it shows that the people I have asked are very into the music industry.
6
These results show that although people listen to a lot of music, they don’t pay much attention to the actual video that is displayed with it. This means to attract attention the video needs to be very high quality to draw people to watch it.
7
This result means that maybe my video would attract more people to the song, gaining the band more popularity. This said, the result is not unexpected based on the fact that not many people in the survey listen to the electronic genre. Have you ever heard of “Don't Just Stand There (feat. Sean Vance)” - Approaching Nirvana?
