8 Interoperable E-catalogs §Standardized product descriptions. §Search and retrieval across different catalogs. §In the interim, there will be 3rd party information brokers that do the integration tasks. §Let buyers easily compare similar products offered by competitive suppliers. §Incorporate links that let buyers readily obtain information from other catalogs describing items and services that complete or add value to a particular core product.
