12 nauep © all rights reserved Making Introductions Stand up straight Don’t lean on anything. Place your feet about 6 to 8 inches a part with one foot slightly in front of the other. Stand approximately 3 feet from whomever you’re speaking with. Make eye contact. Smile.

Be honest and accurate. Don’t send chain letters, they’re irritating. Use lowercase letters and avoid typing in ALL CAPS. Don’t be informal in work emails. Don’t share personal information online, once it is posted you can’t get it back.
