1 SANTA CRUZ DE MORA MERIDA, VENEZUELA

2 It is a town nestled in a valley and the banks of a river, so it presents serious problems of flood, landslide and seismic activity due to material lithology and seismic fault at the scene.

3 The residents of Santa Cruz have big problems like lack of green areas, housing settled on steep slopes, water service and garbage collection poors, among others, in addition to the problems that may cause the rains, an earthquake or landslides. These problems are their greatest needs, and the people our clients.

4 The town houses are mostly brick with a tin roof and cement floor. Others houses are roof tiles or terraced roof, and walls of concrete block or adobe. The population being located in a seismic zone 5, the housing should have quake- resistant structures to resist the force of an earthquake.
