Producers’ Decisions Profit Motivated Service to the community rather than profit is the main motive May be a sole trader, partnership or company Responsible for services to a local area eg: rubbish collection May be funded by rates or local levies Provide services to the needy May be used to further process owners’ output Funded by subscriptions, members contributions Provides services to members Created in a process called Corporatisation Owned by the government but profit motivated Owned by members
