Hints Avoid too broad a topic like the language of advertising, or IT or visual art Clearly labelled: External Assessment Cover Sheet SACE number and accurate word count. Successful work: clearly independent, good topic selection analysis which was in-depth and examined how language changes to suit context, audience and purpose. They also were able to analyse how language was used and provided effective examples.
