2 About the CAAT Located at Macomb Community College (MCC) South Campus Partnered with Wayne State University (WSU) Became an Advanced Technological Education Center in 2010 funded by the National Science Foundation ($2.8M Grant) Mission: – Advance the preparation of skilled technicians for the automotive industry’s more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles. – Be a regional resource for developing and disseminating advanced automotive technology education. – Lead in collaboration among industry, education and professional associations

3 Macomb Community College Profile  Largest grantor of associate’s degrees in Michigan, top 2% in the US  200 degree and certificate fields  24,000 degree-credit students each semester  15,000 students each year in workforce development, customized training, continuing education
