3  Colombia ranks second in hosting the world's biodiversity.  Has 10% of living species on earth.  Third place in the world with 2890 species of vertebrate species.  It has 1752 species of birds classified (19% of the birds of South America)  3,000 species of fish. BIODIVERSITY

4  Colombia is ranked 23rd among the countries with the largest supply of freshwater in the world for its enormous orographic condition OROGRAPHIC CONDITION

6 The country's population is predominantly mestizo. However, the presence of ancestral ethnic groups is important and more than 10% of the population, including indigenous, Afro-descendant, raizal and ROM. Nearly 44 million people POPULATION
