2. Good Facts! Listen Kids! Prescription drug addiction is the compulsive seeking and overuse- despite harmful consequences-of prescription drugs. Misuse of prescription drugs involves using a medication for a purpose other than than which it was prescribed.

3. Kids this is not candy! The most commonly abused prescription drugs are:  Opiods-used to treat pain example include morpine codeine and oxycodone.  Central nervous system depressants-used to treat anxiety and sleep disorders example include barbiturate and benzodiazepines.  Stimulants-used to treat narcolepsy and attention defiction hyperactivity disorder examples include dextroamphetamine and methylphenidate.

4. Kids these are not play toys nooo!! The reason people become addiction to prescription drugs, and begin to take them in a harmful and non- prescribed manner are largely unknown. There is evidence that genetic factors may play a part. Anxiety derpeeion lonelines and a history of alcohlism are often associated with addiction.

5. Grugs and not fun or cool MMM KAY? o Drugs abuse is a disease characterized by continued misuse of drugs even when faced with drug-related job legal health or family difficulties. o the cause of drug abuse and dependence is unknown although there are a variety of theories.
