Background Bangladesh has got one of the biggest education system in the world 140235 institutions 929518 teachers 33568501 students

Situation of Secondary level Students Access in education has increased dramatically between the decades. Various efforts from the government like stipend, distribution of textbooks at free of cost could not remain all students in the schools The dropout rate in secondary education is really frustrating (44.65%)

Reasons behind the drop out. Traditional teacher centered learning system Absence of visualization in the learning process. Students Role are more or less inactive in the class room. Learning process is not joyful to them

Situation of ICT based education Government is providing one laptop to one schools with internet modem Still most of the teachers are not familiar with the ICT based Education They cannot prepare digital content at their own.

Situation of ICT based education Government of Bangladesh has taken an initiative to introduce ICT based education as reform in the education system. Introduced multimedia classroom in all secondary institutions in Bangladesh for ensuring effective teaching learning..

Relevance of the project Digital content development and its practice make the classroom teaching joyful. Development and practices of digital content at secondary level are comparatively a new idea ICT and pedagogical knowledge of the teachers is essential to make effective multimedia classroom Therefore the project is very essential at this moment.

General Objective: To ensure vibrant and effective teaching learning environment to build the student as a future global citizen. Objectives of the Project

Specific Objectives 1. To help the students for better understanding of the topic in a systematic way. 2. To make the learning more interesting and enjoyable for students 3. To motivate students to more self-managed learner and 4. To be more creative and innovative in teaching.

Scope of the Project 64 Secondary level teachers, one from each of the 64 districts will be selected They will be developed as Core trainers NAEM will provide 2 weeks ToT training to them in two batches. They replicated it in their respective District By rotation the core trainers cover the whole Country within April 2016.

Expected results Dropout rate will be decreased by 2%. Use of Digital contents in the classroom will enhance creativity and skills of the teachers The incorporation of ICT into lessons will improve students’ achievement.

The Project Organization National Academy for Educational Management –Policy Guidelines and Implementation Khan Md. Mainul Haque and Qurratul Ayen Safdar will act as focal point. NAEM will select, invite and train the core trainers among the secondary level teachers.

The Project Organization The Core trainers will replicate the training at the Division/District level for secondary level teacherst. Upazila Academic Supervisors will act as focal point for the training at the Division/District level. He will arrange the schedule and venue for the training in consultation with focal point at NAEM
