Water cycle and fresh water By: Nitchakarn Theingviboonwong (Pae) Grade 7 RIS Summer school 08
3
Purpose or goal of Power Point My purpose on this project is that I want people or other that don’t know about this to know that the fresh water on the world is very less and we want everyone to save the water.
4
This is the picture of water cycle.
5
Water cycle Water cycle is made up of a few main parts these are: Evaporation Condensation Precipitation collection
6
How does the water form? First the water cycle star from the ocean, lakes or rivers. The sun heat up the water and it cause water to vapor and it cause water to be steam and goes up to the air this is called Evaporation.
7
How does water form? After the water goes up to the air the water gets cold and change back to liquid again and its start to form a cloud. This called Condensation.
8
How does the water form? Precipitation occurs when so much water has condensed that the air cannot hold it anymore. When the cloud get bigger and heavier it start to rain and snow.
9
How does the water form? When water falls back to earth as precipitation, it may fall back in the oceans, lakes or rivers or it may end up on land. When it ends up on land, it will either soak into the earth and become part of the “ground water” that plants and animals use to drink or it may run over the soil and collect in the oceans, lakes or rivers where the cycle starts
10
Fresh water There are only 1% or only 0.007% on the earth. About 98 % of water on earth is the sea water. We are not suppose to drink it.
11
Where does fresh water come from? Fresh water came from rain and snow. Then it come down from the mountain to the ocean
