Motivation To bring new resource types and respective procedures, several places needs to be added/modified in TS-0004 – Not only 7.4.x and 6.3.4.2.1, but also others During PRO#22 meeting, there was a need to have such a guideline – One reference to write this guideline PRO-2015-0989R02- notification_target_deletion_resource_types_and_proc edures (agreed at PRO#22) © 2014 oneM2M Partners 2

Guideline (1/2) Resource type and procedure definition – 7.4.x for new resource type and procedures – 7.4.x for parent resource type update to have new resource type as a child (e.g., CSEBase, AE) – 6.3.3~6.3.5 for new data types for new attributes – 6.5 for new XSD inheritance model, if applicable – 6.6.3 for new Response Status Code – 8.2.3~8.2.5 for new short names © 2014 oneM2M Partners 3
